Advent Of Bedlam: Flesh over god
24/01/13 || gk
Second album from this Costa Rican death metal outfit and this is some decent technical death metal with some nods to Behemoth and sudden shifts to clean singing. Advent of Bedlam is competent and they can definitely play their instruments but they fail at writing memorable songs. Once the album was over, all I could remember was how unremarkable the whole thing was. “Flesh over god” is not a bad effort, just really bland and forgettable.
4/10: Competently played but easily forgettable.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
